Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) is a non-invasive treatment for knee osteoarthritis (OA). This study aimed to assess the effects of ESWT on functional ability in grade IV KOA patients. The trial showed that adding ESWT to conventional physiotherapy (CPT) significantly improved lower extremity functional scale (LEFS) scores compared to CPT alone.
