Study Overview

A study compared different bowel preparation methods for colonoscopy. It aimed to assess the effectiveness and patient tolerance of low-dose polyethylene glycol (PEG) combined with different doses of linaclotide.

Key Findings

The 2LPEG + 2L group showed the best bowel cleansing success (92.0%) compared to the other groups. The 2LPEG + L group also had similar results to the 3LPEG group. Both combination groups had better tolerance and fewer adverse reactions compared to the 3LPEG group.

Based on the results, the 2LPEG + 2L combination is a practical and effective bowel preparation regimen.
