- Better hydration noted on the left and right cheeks and nose after treatment.
- Lower oil production on cheeks and forehead (p < 0.05).
- No significant changes in overall skin barrier measurements like water loss or skin pH.
Conclusion
The 30% SSA treatment effectively reduced rosacea symptoms, diminished redness, and improved skin hydration. It stands out as a safe and well-tolerated alternative to traditional treatments.
